Recruiting In Its Final Week
The home stretch is upon us for college football recruiting as National Signing Day will take place next Wednesday.
The University of Florida football team now has the top ranked recruiting class for 2008 according to the Rivals.com recruiting service. That could change as there are still prospects who have yet to make a college decision but the Gators may also not be done in getting more prospects into the class.
Florida is still looking for a big time tailback and right now it looks like the hope rests with Milton Knox of California. Most believe he is leaning toward UCLA but he still has Florida on his very short list of schools.
Many recruiting analysts expect Florida to get a verbal commitment from outside linebacker William Green from Alabama and there are always a few surprises when the class is officially announced next week.
The Gators now have 22 verbal commitments.
